'Dance Stars' Non-Porfit Youth Classes

In celebration of National Ballroom Dance Week, Oleg and Asya partnered with Dasie Bridgewater Hope Center and Youth Guidance Mentoring and Activities -- two local nonprofit organizations serving at-risk children -- for Dance Stars. This inaugural program introduced children to the enjoyment, beauty and discipline of ballroom dancing. A group of over 20 kids and teens learned the basics of Waltz and East Coast Swing along with the history of both dances. In addition they recieved instruction about dance manners. The week long program came to a successful end with the kids performing a group show of Waltz and Swing for their friends and families. The evening concluded with an awards ceremony for all the participants.
